This is a very interesting and quite rare figural percussion
table-top nutcracker, the head moves
up and down with a hammer action to crush the nut placed
in the central aperture. It is in the form of a sailor
seated on a lobster or fishing pot, 'Tough Nut' is inscribed
on his hat. It was also produced in iron.
