This nutcracker depicts, on one side, Fagin with a finger to his nose,
clutching a bag of money and on the other, Bill Sykes holding a cudgel
. Harrods sold this nutcracker for 5/3 (26 pence) in 1928.
A fairly common nutcracker, later versions exist marked
'Peerage MADE IN ENGLAND' behind Sykes and 'Peerage ENGLAND'
behind the scroll at the end of the Sykes lever.
